Origami Creation - Remembering Babe the Pig

Babe was such a wonderful movie ... pigs could really be sweet, cute and cuddly.  They are so adorable.

Being so inspired with Babe, I searched for a pig piece to fold.  Here is Fuchimoto Muneji's masterpiece.

I love the simple lines and geometric shaping for this design - from the snout, ears, back legs and tail!  It is undoubtedly a perfect pig!

Origami Creations - The Smart Puffer/Balloon Fish

I just saw an interesting national geographic video of a puffer/balloon fish and how it evades a predator.  Check out the video below:

Origami Creations - Lovable dog series continued

To continue my love for doggy folds ... I present here a miniature schnauzer dog designed by one of my favorite japanese origamist Fuchimoto Muneji.  

Uber Cute - he adores apples :-)

His designs are quite cute yet could be tricky to fold for the first time.  Once you get to understand his base fold, it will then be easy to make them.

In spite of not having any color change technique, I was so impressed with this Tuna fish model by the Japanese origamist Fuchimoto Muneji.

Origami Creations - Dog Delights

I saw this cute doggie origami by Fuchimoto Muneji.  Again, I couldn't resist to look for its diagram and fold it to add to my doggie fold collection.

The model can be found in his book Origami Pet Park.  Here is his Dachsund piece.

It is a wonderful fold and quite a whimsical piece too.  Surprise to find a tutorial in youtube and I am posting it below for your enjoyment.
